The State of Educational Opportunity in Louisiana: A Survey of Parents

Changing the lives of students starts by listening to parents. Parents are the first educators of their children and know the needs of their students better than anyone else. By engaging with parents across our state, we can ensure that we are focused on the educational problems most important to them. This parent focus is pivotal in ensuring the policies Louisiana Kids Matter works to achieve are aligned with the needs of the students of our great state. We are so excited to share with you a new survey on the state of educational opportunity in Louisiana. Produced in partnership with 50CAN and Edge Research, this survey provides not only a unique window into the opportunities available to students in our state right now but allows us to compare those answers to parents across our region and across the country.
